Countless Join Pro-Palestinian Demonstrations as Organizers Vow to Persist in Activism
Tens of thousands gathered throughout the country at rallies supporting Palestine, with organizers promising to continue protesting after a peace arrangement facilitated by the former US president in Gaza showed early signs of stability.
Sydney Protest Attracts Many Participants
In Sydney, the pro-Palestine organization claimed 30,000 people had marched from the central park to a nearby green space in the central business district after a scheduled protest to the Opera House was prohibited by the legal authorities in recent days.
Local authorities approximated eight thousand participants attended the city demonstration, with a spokesperson reporting there had been "minimal disturbances".
Countrywide Protests Commemorate Date
