'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first important trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he once was, and would seriously consider lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
